Description
Developed during the campaign against CAFTA, this participatory workshop reviews the basics of free trade, its institutions, its history, and its impact on working people, especially immigrants. Particularly useful charts include:
-a map of free trade agreements in the Americas and their dates
-“Circulo de Remesas:” the money that immigrants send home to their families ends up buying products in the US, and enriching Central America’s wealthy.
